Our relationship with Castle Jackson began off the back of Elliot walking in one day and letting us know that the website could use some improving and showed us how.

THE FIRST STEP

The Piercing Urge already had good web presence and an even better reputation in the industry so in this case the objective more focused on two major areas. The first objective was to increase the conversion rate of the website. The second was about strengthening their Google ranking over time via SEO copywriting and making adjustments in the backend of the current website. The two objectives go hand-in-hand.

By achieving both of these objectives The Piercing Urge would see an increase in sales with-out having to spend additional funds on digital marketing as a result. Once these two objectives were achieved their became a new objective, link the website to the online store and push this via Google AdWords.

This was also broken down into two stages again. Firstly, link up the two websites smoothly and test everything out to ensure there would be no issues. Secondly, research and start the Google AdWords campaign. The result was a great success.

Castle Jackson initially boosted traffic via strengthening the website to allow Google to rank the website better over time. Google AdWords complimented this again later on.

Conversion rate optimisation carried out with the website along with correct exposure on Google is what achieved this.

Embedding keywords and locations in the content resulted in an increase in Google ranking under the desired keywords. Google Adwords further strengthened this later on again.

The Method

The method on how we approached this project came with strategy. The first stage of this process was to help increase the converting rate of the website to ensure that once the ranking and exposure increased, the website would convert at a high percentage. It was important for us to ensure that the first step was achieved so The Piercing Urge could see that we are not only good at our job but they also would not be putting any additional funds down the drain.

The second stage was strengthening the Search Engine Optimisation copywriting component to the website so over a period of time, the website would rank under the desired keywords. As we watched stage two kick in nicely, we then spoke with the client about dramatically increasing the exposure via Google AdWords. We new this would be a success based on the results they were already receiving with the work we carried out along with the reputation of the business. The rest was history and another success story came from Castle Jackson.

When The Piercing Urge initially came on board, the website was doing its job by assisting in booking appointments for the shop but once Castle Jackson ‘fine-tuned’ a few major areas and really increased the exposure it became a decent percentage of the revenue coming in to The Piercing Urge.
